In order to open a liaison office in Turkey, the following documents must be submitted to the Under secretariat of Treasury and the General Directorate of Foreign Investment:

  • The original “Operation Certificate” of the parent company, prepared in accordance with the principles of the Hauge Conference on Private International Law and approved in accordance with the Agreement on Removing the Certification Requirement for official documents issued by the relevant Turkish Consulate or by foreign authorities.
  • Annual report or balance sheet and income statement of the parent company
  • The original of the “Certificate of Authorization” issued on behalf of the person appointed to carry out the activities of the liaison office
  • Original "Power of Attorney" in case the establishment procedures of the liaison office are carried out by someone else.
